accelerator problem
Hi all, i am new to the forum so my first problem is as follows;
I just bought my 2009 outlander from the dealer 2 weeks ago and after i picked it up i noticed i had to depress the accelerator about half way just to keep up with traffic, never driven one of these before i thought it may just be one of them things so took it for a remap and to be honest i carnt notice any differance in power but still have to depress the pedal quiet alot, on a motorway i have to floor it just to overtake safely. There are no error codes stored on the ecu and no cel light has illuminated.
The car just feels like i am towing constantly and i feel as tho i am driving with my foot down constantly, in my van i just touch the pedal and its off.
Anyone know what the problem could be? also when changing gear i can hear slight turbo chatter, may sound good on a petrol car but not on a diesel lol
thanks in advance

IF you can, have the throttle position sensor tested.
How can I tell if the throttle position sensor has failed?

Yeah I have had a car in limp mode before but my car still has plenty of power if I put my foot to the floor ts just I feel as though I am constantly putting my foot half throttle just to keep up with the traffic, its been back to mitsubishi twice but they carnt find a fault.
Hey
I have expirenced that the hose from the turbocharger has fallen off. And it was not possible to come higher than 80 km/h. Or you should check your fuel filter, if it is blocked you will not either be able to accelerate. It is my experience...
Hope it can help.
