I'd recommend Moog brand end links:

Went to change anti roll bar bushes to find that one of the bolts has been rounded off,the one on the drivers side at the top and you cant see it.....how the hell am I going to get that out......no wonder its knocking last owner obviously rounded it off and abandoned job......havnt a clue how to remove a rounded bolt that you cant even see.

do you have enough room to drill out the center of the bolt, then use an easy out? Use lots of penetrating oil beforehand.

I encountered a similar issue trying to remove the swaybar links on my Outlander. In one case, I used a reciprocating saw and just sliced the rounded-head bolt off. I was replacing the swaybar link anyway so I didn't care about damaging the bolt in it. In another case, I used channellocks to grip the rounded-bolt head and they actually worked pretty well. |
