Default aux in behind unit

i have read and read about aux in ,with connections under seats, adapters behind center console etc .can i just splice into the back of the MMCS with scotchlocks to 3 cables earth ,left in ,right in ,can anyone tell me the coulours and the module plug i use please ,i want to connect a DAB unit to my 2007 elegence thanks in advance

This is what i decided to do after reading some threads on the forum. I used a 3.5 jack with video and audio
3.5 Video jack
wire scheme

Yes it did, but remember to make a bridge between video in and pin 65.
