Greetings, I place it on the windshield midpoint, is closer to the panel. On corners it is impossible, from for a glass bend.

I tuck my Tom-Tom right in the low left corner of the windscreen using the supplied mega-suction mount.
Thread the power supply down through the opening of the steering column and tuck the excess cable into a panel gap on the transmission tunnel.
Tidy and safe...no looking away and/or down to get your information.
Granted, its a stretch but you shouldn't be playing with it on the move, should you....?

Mine is in the same place as pilcan's. No issues with the satalite picking up reception and I don't have to move anything to keep it out of view.

Question Mounting gps in 2007 eclipse

Hi, Everyone. I'm new here.

I have a 2007 eclipse and just purchased a TomTom 5" gps. I spent nearly an hour with a friend trying to find a suitable place to positon the device, with no luck. I'm thinking I may have to return it and get a smaller one, like 4.3 inches? Any suggestions?
