most default bluetooth passcodes are either "0000" or "1234". have you tried those?

I had the same problem and found this. I had to do it a few times but it did work for me.
Turn on the system and without touching any other buttons press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds, release it, press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds, release it, then press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds and release it.All this must be done within 10 seconds. In other words you must press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds three separate times within 10 seconds. If it doesn't work, turn off the system, turn it back on and try again.. The person I spoke to said it may take several attempts to get it to work. Good Luck... |
I have a 2010 Outlander xls with standard radio. I called the handsfree hotline at 888-702-4100. He told me how to reset passcode.
It was 1) with radio off press : 1 then seek left, seek right, 4. then display. |
problem sorted

I called the Bluetooth help hot line at 888-702-4100. I was told that the car will have one of six dealer codes.

1. Ensure power is OFF for the radio. 2. Press and release the following buttons in this order 1 RPT, << SEEK, SEEK >>, 4>> 3. The words HFM DIAG should appear on the screen. 4. Press and release the SEL button. 5. Hold down the SEL button for a long time(about 5sec). 6. Disable the passcode If this does not solve your issue, or you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-702-4100. We are available Mon-Fri, 7am-8pm CT. |
