I bought mine and installed the kit. It works well. I'm just hoping the shocks don't fail early. For about $70 delivered to your doorstep from Taiwan that works is a good deal I think. The pics already posted are practically identical to this kit.

Just be careful during install not to misalign or put pressure on 1 side of the hood to prevent complications. Note that the washers not an exact fit and you're better off using the original bolts instead of the supplied screws.

Finally got around to mine.

I used 2 struts, about 2 ft in length. Remove the washer hose clip. Flat washers on either side of the square holes in the hood hinges anwith self locking nuts.

Bottom mount was thru existing hole, with washer under-side and again with self locking nuts.

Hood dampers came from a body shop owner (came off a wreck) and $4.oo for flat washers and self locking nuts.

Works like a charm.
