Brand new OS with CVT already needs repair!
My new Outlander Sport with a CVT has 434 miles on it and needs a new "valve module that controls the transmission"!! What the heck does that mean? Anyone know if I should be worried that the transmission will now me compromised even after it's fixed?

Can you tell me the symptoms? I just bought a '13 Outlander SE on Friday, and I want to make sure it's operating properly.

Whoa! That's scary - It may or may not be related - but when I first bought my second Jeep Cherokee, it did something similar - but it was something to do with a shock that was not attached properly up front - Hopefully it's not a major repair. Keep us posted.

I have a 015 outlander. That's good to watch out for. Maybe that just a sencor that needs to be replaced. That's what is good about having a warraunty . You can get that fixed under your warraunty . When a car is new and in the brake in period things like that may happen. That's why it's important to follow your owners manual under the brake in period. And I'm sure you are:):) I Guess I would be Nervous if that happened and I didn't have a warraunty . Keep us posted on how things go with the repair. Did you ck the trans fluid? To see how that was?

Most things fail shortly after manufacture (mfgr defect) or after a long period of time/use. It's uncommon for things to fail in the middle.
