Unhappy Broken passenger mirror...help!

I have a 2008 Outlander XLS and my passenger side mirror is broken where the cover connects to the housing. Is there a parts database where I can order a replacement? I'll probably have to buy the entire assembly...but you never know.

Thanks for the help!

something like that?

I'm only familiar with GM side mirrors and Ford side mirror, but I can't imagine the Mitsubishi being too different. Usually you take the inside door panel off to take off the interior trim panel that is just interior of the mirror. The mirror is generally held on by three nuts/bolts. My wife's Grand Am had plastic posts that would snap if it was hit just right. My sister's Chevy Trailblazer had her passenger side mirror that broke. However that mirror had an aluminum brace inside (kinda like a bone in your arm) that had studs that screwed into the brace. The studs that came with the replacement were total crap and twisted in two with little effort.

I think that the part linked above is an OEM side mirror.

You are THE man! That is exactly what I was looking for!!!!!

The painted cover (#3) is the part that snapped off. There are small clips that are missing so it doesn't fit properly on the backside of the mirror assy.

Thanks again for the link!!!!!!

if you feel like shopping around, just google "Mitsubishi OEM Parts"...basically, dealerships across the nation will create a website to sell product at a bit discounted rate vs local dealerships. for something like the cover, your local dealership (if you have one) maybe close enough to the online price that shipping would make it more expensive.
