Default 2017 fog b-hole bulb size?

Hey guys. I have a 2017 limited edition outlander sport (US) and I was looking to replace stock fog bulbs for yellow ones as they come white which is pointless. My question is regarding the bulb size. The owners manual lists 2 sizes. "Type 1" which is an h8 and "type 2" which is an h16.... there is an asterik next to each footnoting "if available". How do I know which one I have? I know for the most part most H sized bulbs have similar connectors and just sport different wattage but if like to get as close to oem spec so I'm not melting housings or wiring. Thanks!

Yea I noticed that most charts that people have assembled online do not include 2017 model year and most lancers and outlander sport models have h16. I have also seen h11 listed on one chart for an unspecified outlander sport model. I was just unsure because the entire front end has been redesigned for 2017 so I was unsure. My girlfriend has a 16 lancer which takes h16's so worse case scenario she can have them for spares if they don't fit I suppose.
