Default Bye Bye Dirtwagon

Hi All- as the title suggests my car will be going up for sale soon. I am officially moving back to New Hampshire before the year is over. I found a nice 1991 Cherokee Briarwood that I picked up for $1200- I'll try to post some pics on here. In any case, I'm going to pay off a lot of bills and probably finance a lift in a little while with the proceeds from the Mitsu sale. This is why I have not been on too often lately. I tried to get my wife to take my car and sell hers, but she wouldn't do it.
The bad:
The front piece that says Jeep is broken but already being replaced by my brother.
It needs a new Passenger side ball joint
The headliner is sagging
The paint is 15 years old and beginning to show age
D35 rear axle is weak- but a cheap and easy upgrade later for heavier wheeling
The good:
The underside and frame are very clean with no rot and only one quarter sized patch of surface rust- in undercoating process very soon- the entire underside. The interior is clean, it has 150,000 miles on the 4.0 high output engine, new Rancho shocks, fairly new tires, new Magnaflow muffler, all the bells and whistles that came in a loaded 1991 including the wood trim- not my favorite option, but it can be removed if I so choose later. It has the selec-trac full time 4x4, AW4 transmission with power/comfort select switch and a host of other goodies. I wrote to Jeep/Chrysler to get the "official" build cheet- I got the short list from the dealer, but want the good one from the corp. office. So what do you all think of my 15 year old truck?

I still plan to drop by the forum, I just don't know how frequently I will be doing so- you know with having to shovel snow again and all

I hate the Cali weather- or should I say lack of weather. Come on now, who wakes up on Christmas morning, looks outside and sees palm trees and 75 degrees and thinks " Merry Christmas" after growing in New England? Not me

last time I visited right after New Years day(2002) and it 22 degrees below zero- I didn't think the thermometer in my truck went that low.... Snow plows plowing in my freshly cleaned driveway will not be something I look forward to, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make
