I board one Mitsubishi outlander 2007 (rocford fostgate)
I board connector is not used.

I'm installing a pioneer F940BT GPS, this connector is not connected ?

Probably for something that is unused with the RF option.

Didn't see anything that might look like the mate to it?

I could install the Pioneer AVIC-F940BT on my car ? and keep the system forckard fosgate and the steering wheel controls?

I have no idea.

I imagine with enough time and a wiring diagram and a lot of patience (none of which I possess) you might be able to do it.

I never know what I should have (or do) just to install a Pioneer AVIC F940BT. (rockford system fostgate)
on a site it says you do not need an interface module between the F940 and the steering wheel, on other sites it says that you need a CA-R-PI.138
and others say no, you need a CA-R-RF.001

here is the answer pioneer (they sent me an email with that)

Hi,

This connector is for MMCS.

You don't need this for the Pionner.
I don't know how to connect your Pionner.

Check crutchfield.com they say theres an adapter that allows you use your steering wheel controls.
