I like it too! Will change it once they got the replacement part available for the 2010 Outlander GT, as the upper glove box was damaged by air freshener anyway.

Well is that possible to make that NEUTRAL thing to save gaz true the computer ?
And what is the mod they did to the engine for that Extra 10 HP ?
its the same engine, so it probably probable to make it perform the same way.
personnaly i dont realy like the new nose of the outlander, but will like to have the small new upgrade :)

Re: +10hp I believe they retuned the engine but as 91 octane is recommended you probably will need the high test to truly get the 10hp gain and at > $0.10/litre over regular it more than offsets the cost savings that the neutral tranny gives you.

I was thinking about mimicing the s-awc on a older outlander. While the likelihood of getting the exact same system/performance is low, I wonder if installing a mech limited slip up front and a helical limited slip at the back would give something similar? Anyone know if LSDs would be compatible with the older outties awc and asc systems?

You could do both. The 'Evolander' was/is supercharged.

You have the potential for more power with turbo, but the down side is usually some sort of turbo lag. For sure will need 91 octane for either option.

I wonder if anyone has installed an aftermarket limited slip?

I am finding some mods too. Now Cusco has coilover kit for 2007-up Outlander. It can be used on both CW5W and CW6W.

Compression

The 2010 outlander has a higher compression ratio. 10.2 instead of 9.5 or something like that. That points to mechanical differences.
