i noticed today that the cover for the wiring to the side mirrors and where teh tweeter would go is very loose and it will just come out easily as the other one is very secure, i saw where the pin in the middle goes into the metal frame, there must be something missing where it snaps in and out, i dont know how it could have come out but tis really bothersome to have it loose like that, would a mitsubishi dealer have the part or could i just buy a new cover with the part?

you are talking about the speaker housing being loose or the wire inside it is loose? You could get it from the dealer either way- or a salvage yard. It may be a tab that broke off the back of the housing as it's only held in place by a plastic tab on each side.

I actually broke mine off, but I glued a small piece onto mine and snapped it back in. It now stays on perfectly.

its the plastic housing piece thats broken with the tweeter speaker grill, the wiring is fine but it seems like a tab is missing that should go into the metal framer so it could snap into place, im thinking i could just get another plastic housing from the dealer and it might come with what im missing, its really a miystery ot how it happened, maybe when i got my headunit and speakers put in they did something to it, i might just be able to put a piece of tape around the plastic piece that goes into the metal frame so it fills up the hole but i rather have it the way it was originally

the tab is just a small piece of plastic that protrudes from the sides, so you will have to replace the whole unit.

oh not the bottom pieces, i mean the pin sticking out just above teh grill that goes into the metal frame of the door, im assuming thats where it snaps into place but thats not happening, the whole cover just sits there and i can tap it and it will just fall out of place, theres nothing holding it in, im really not sure what everythings supposed to look like but i dont want to take off the other one to see and break that one
