Dead blower motor

So my blower motor died for the hvac on my 2016. Anyone have this happen? I’m replacing the blower motor and resistor just in case… Apply 12 volts to the old motor does nothing….

I think im on my 3rd or 4th blower motor already. It seems like the blower motor starts to whine after 1 year or so especially when its being used a lot.. the blower motor replacement was covered under warranty because when i got it replaced thru the dealership it had 2yrs 40km warranty on it and i still got 6months left with the warranty so at least i got my moneys worth when i paid for it 18months ago..

hopefully this replacement will last longer. I might just diy it next time it starts to make noise again...

Yikes, mine seemed to get weak then just stopped all in one trip. I think we smelled something burning for a moment. No noise, etc. Bought another OEM on off eBay for $50. Hopefully last longer…

I replaced the blower motor and resistor. All working well. I found that the port on the bottom is smaller. Not sure if that means it’s a newer or older design…
