Hi! I am new to this forum.
I drive a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 l diesel Instyle+, and I love the car.
I does, however, annoy me that the torque is so low below 1500-2000 rpm, especially in the first gear. I have therefore considered either chip tuning or buying an effect box, for instance this one (DTK, diesel tuning kit) http://www.tuningstyling.co.uk/tunin...tuning-styling
Does anyone have any experience with either chip tuning, or more specifically this kit?

 

I,ve not used one but would be interested to find out if what they claim is true.

HOWEVER....... I would very very wary of dealing with and sending money to a business/ site that only gives an e mail address and no other way of contacting it, not even an address or PO box number

 

Have a browse round the Audi,VW, Skoda and Seat forums, they will reccomend many a vendor.... Superchips, Revo are two of many.

The 2.0 VW Pumpe Deise engine is a popular engine to be tuned so plenty of peeps do it.
