different types of fuel for outlander

i know the car takes regular fuel

i'm planing to fill up at husky and their gas has a mix of ethanol into the gas.
has anyone filled up with this kind of gas in their outlanders?

i'm asking becuase i know some cars don't work with ethanol blended gas

and just a question
anyone feel anything different in their cars when filling up with premium fuel instead of regular?

A small amount of ethanol (I believe up to 10%) is okay. Gas stations here in Phoenix have a special winter blend with 10% ethanol to reduce pollution and I've never had problems with my Outlander or any other car I've owned.

Anything above that can cause problems unless your vehicle is a flex fuel vehicle which Outlanders are not. Flex fuel vehicles can run on a 85% ethanol 15% gasoline blend. Flex fuel vehicles have among other things special fuel lines that can handle the ethanol. If you put the 85% ethanol in a non flex fuel vehicle it can damage fuel lines. There also may be other problems beyond the fuel lines that I am not aware of.

No probs with ethanol. Pretty much all gas in the Midwest uses it.

Theoretically, you might see 5% less fuel mileage..
