DIY Paddle Shift on my 07 LS Outlander; Finished, don't know how to attach pictures

I am doing on that now and will be finished soon. It will just look like the origin equiped. Cause the paddle shift and the cover of the steer column are genuine parts form Mitsubishi.

I am thinking how many people will be interested in this, and how much they are willing to pay for it.

Yes, it simply involves buying the part and putting it on/connecting to the spare connector. The hardest part is taking of the steering wheel. You can even make your own custom shifter by wiring into the 3 pin harness. IIRC there is upshift/ground/downshift wires which you short to ground to get it to send the signal to the ECU.

You are right, except there is no spare connector in my 07 outi. It took me long time to find the connection from the ECU.

Hmm, I see it on my 08 LS. It's taped to the steering column and is clearly seen through the space between the dashboard and the column. I guess 07 didn't have it prewired.

Just wondering, where did you get the parts? Did you get it from Japan? I am asking this because you can find one from Japan for around $300 and they have the wiring included. I want to start this project too but just don't know how. Post the pictures up please.

I haven't got the paddle, will come soon. I'll post some pictures later.
I connected the wires already, by playing that 3 wires, I "paddle shifted" my outi the first time. lol

yeah, I were told the spare plug is taped with other wires with a protection cover. But there is no such thing in my car. I found the wires come from ECU and terminated on one connector. I cut the wires from that connector.

Please show us a pic of the 3 wires for the 07 outlander to connect the paddle shifters and how they connect to them if you've already done so. Those of us who want to have the paddle option will really thank you for it:).
