Driver seat move....

Hello, I would like to know if anybody have the same problem. My driver seat move a lite bit back and forward , when I brake or accelerated, it's only the back that move just a lite movement. Try yours and tell me if mine is normal. I have the 2008 XLS. Thank you!

Nope. Mine does not do that at all.

I would take it to the dealer. Probably just a few bolts that need tightened.

rip14, is your seat power one?

I have same issue. The only solution I've found is to set front of the seat to the topmost position.

Dealer told me that's OK and their demo room Outlander has this issue too.

Yes I have power seat .....I'm sad to see that the 2010 still have the same problem, Mitsubishi should read this forum and try to fix problem before getting new re-design vehicule.

That's why your seat is firm.
My passenger's seat (not powered) does not have a slack too.

Driver seat move....

Hi,

I have the same problem.
I have a 2009 Outlander with a power seat

the problem is due to a defect bushing

My 2010 Outlander GT, leather and power seats does the same thing. If I sit upright and push my feet on the floor, I can feel just a bit of a rocking or tipping. Was planning on having the dealer look at it during the next trip to the shop. Hopefully they can fix the "Creak/squeak" in the dash as well.

No chance. But I'd like to be wrong though.

My power seat move also just a wee bit in braking or accelerating disconcerting but you get used to it.
If this is adjustable I would love to know.

For the creak/squeak I had it to but it did not come from the dash.

It seem to, but it comes from the back.

I got rid of it by insulating the two metal loop that keep the useless temporary seat latched down in the back.

Open the seat and on the floor of the hole you will see two square loops I wrapped the top part with low friction nylon tape (2 turns each) I don't know how long these will last but it's working so far.

The idea is that the seat assembly is jumping up and down against there latches with road vibration.
