Red face fog lights on with parking lights only

greetings fellow forum members

just installed a pair of piaa ion yellow h11 bulbs on my 2 weeks old '10 outlander GT. now my question, is there any way to make the fog lights turn on only with the parking lights on? i know they're only functional when the headlights are on

I was curious about this as well, but haven't really seen any info about it yet. Hopefully one of our more knowledgeable members can chime in.

They will only work with the headlights on.

Taken from this reference: end of section 3.4 page 86

http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com/cor...ew/e/2006.html

The function of Fog lights is defined by the laws of the country it cannot be modified at the fields level.
Its locked in the ETAC.

Your only choice would be to rewire the system similar to Ramon

Looks good. I like the look of the yellow fogs. Still straddling the fence on whether I want to put yellow HID's in there instead of just swapping the bulbs out. I'm also considering putting yellow film on the lenses.

Blueb16, what bulbs did you use for your DRL's and where did you get them? Thx.
