The future of CUV for Mitsubishi: Concept-cX
Mitsubishi Motors gives us a glimpse of what's to come from them in the CUV segment. It's a "green" vehicle that uses clean diesel technology. It will use some future tech for the whole powertrain.

Looks like Mitsu is following everyone else and trying to have a distinctive front end. This front end looks good, and a pretty cool concept.

The concept looks interesting. I see some Volvo C30 in the back, but this is not a bad thing, The front is the Lancer we all know. I like the direction Mitsu is taking the design these days.

I'm not verry big on cross overs that look "too" much like a car/wagon. One of the reasons I bought the outi was that it still has the masculin looks of an SUV, while retaining cross over size, something the first gen outi did not do. This concept is headed for that car/wagon look for a cross over and I'll have to pass.

It'll probably be a concept for an Evo Wagon, and most likely it won't even make it stateside, if they ever make a production model out of it, as the current IX wagons are. It can be an Evo wagon and you can still call it a CUV. With the Outlander's current fame, I doubt this line of small SUVs is going in that direction.
