Default Gunmetal Wheels

My spare set of wheels just came back from powdercoating. I almost went for bronze, but the closest color match was a little too dark and too brown. So gunmetal was my choice, I think the color turned out good.

I painted the center caps to match. My Tire Pressure Monitors should have been here today, but I missed the UPS guy so I'll have to wait until next week to mount up tires. I picked Pirelli P6 tires in the stock 225/55/18 size, going to compare them to the Goodyears.

Pics so far...

I love gun metal rims I bought a set for my old eclipse. What did this spare set of rims cost?

Everything from eBay... OEM wheels $350. Tire Pressure Sensors $65. Pirelli P6 tires $270.

Powdercoating was kinda high because I chose a color that had to be special ordered. $440 including stripping the wheels and hazardous waste fee.

I was thinking about going with black. I did my best attempt at matching the body color and putting it to the rear wheel but I suck. Not to mention blackw ill hide the brake dust haha.

Lol my photoshop skills suck too, but I keep doing it in privateand i'm getting better all the time, just keep practicing, it's fun and it still give you an idea of what you want. a lot of the pics i've posted up are from japanese outi's with that lame mirror half way down the front of the hood, must of done a good enough job cause nobody has noticed i got rid of it.
