Retrofit HID
So this is my Outlander 2010 few conversions done, I modified my stock Headlamps with a FX-R III stage kit with 55 watt HID 5000k, (more info of my kit at The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications).
I try to give it a very OEM-like style, I recently installed some LED drls they look great, not like those cheap chinese type, I also purchased them from the same site.
Hope you like it, I live in Monterrey, Mexico is there someone who would like to do a retrofit in your own car I hope I can help.

This comment is for UK Outlander owners.
From 2012 any vehicle with xenon headlamps OEM or aftermarket must have a headlamp washer and a automatic self-leveling mechanism to pass the MOT test. I think this regulation extend to all the EU.

I changed my (wife's car I bought) to all HID.
It's a 2011 Outlander 4 cyl/CVT and put 5000K in the lows and 3500K in the fogs (yellowish tint). Also a relay on the parking lights to automatically turn on the fogs since it does not have auto headlights.
I will see about putting a few pics up. This is Miami,FL so we don't have any state inspection or anything like that.
Just the fogs on which are HID and relay wired to the parking lights so they always come on
Plenty of light. Used 3500 Kelvin for fogs so have a yellowish hue to them

Hi there,
I'm sort of a noob here. Just got my RVR (aka outlander sport) in Toronto. I'm looking to change my stock headlamps to all HIDs and was looking for some help. If anyone could recommend any certain brand. I'm looking to do it myself hence I'd hope its an easy install.
Thank you!!
