Not only the Outie has twice prices
All of autos on our market.

By the way I saw real prices 7 days ago in our dealer shop: Outlander V6 AT costs from 1'190'000 RUR to 1'290'000 RUR (~34'000...36'800 USD) top version.

As I wrote, US $2000 - is high price. But I can't make dicomfort to other drivers and ready to pay for it.

3) Where I can find showed connector fot cheking pairs of HID/halogen wires ?

Thank you.
Sergy, here some details about your questions:

1) Since your Out has the halogen system headlamp, you will not find any component relative to the system HID, all must be bought separately

2) I took the diagrams from service manual relative HID system, and I was following, step by step, each line/wire to know if my has the prewiring. Basically, we must look for:
- front harness connector,
- rear harness connector,
- ECU levelling harness,
- and find the holes and supports to attach the front/rear sensors

I will upload the pics of location of these connectors

3) It is the same connector of your halogen headlamp, it's share the same connector but with different wires

in addition, HID headlamp has a fuse of greater capacity, located in the engine fuse box

Sergy, to locate the following components and prewiring, search here:

1. Front sensor connector, look inside engine compartment, RH side

2. Remove lower glove box and search in lower right corner for ECU levelling spare harness

3. Remove small cubby to can see rear sensor connector; isn't necessary to remove the entire panel, is possible to see the connector through hole; in addition, to install rear harness, isn't necessary to remove the panel. This pics are reference and I took them from forum...

Nice job! Thank you for useful info.

If I wont find prewiring in my Outie - that's mean I can't make to OEM HID conversion ?

Sergy, you could use only HID headlamps, and not buy the sensors, harness and ECU levelling; look if your Outie has the 20 A fuses and HID wires on headlamp connector, y ONLY HID headlamps will be necessary. Remember, it's necessary to reprogram ETACS for levelling system. . .
