Default HID Headlight issue

Hello everyone,

First off i have no understanding of headlights.

A couple of months ago i got hit by a car turning right from a left lane. So my car was sent for repair, however when i got the car back i noticed my HIDs producing a ridiculous amount of glare on both sides (photos attached).

I took it back to the panel beater who said all they did was unplug the damaged headlight and replace it with new genuine ones (even gave me the invoice for the part). I then took it to 2 mitsubishi dealerships with one telling me the assembly was cracked and the other saying there is no fault.

A third dealership inspected and said they could not notice anything but opted to replace the whole headlight under warranty (however they said if its still the same, then the panel beater needs to fix it).

However the issue is still there.

Does anyone understand HIDs and able to figure out what the hell the panel beater did to my lights or headlight housing?? They used to work great but since they repaired the car the lights have never been the same.

Any help is appreciated.

Just to support my earlier thread, this panel beater was a joke, went over my windshield with the buffing machine and scratched it terribly, burnt the paint on the bonnet with the buffing machine, the bumper was missing 9 clips and a foglight housing bracket and the bumper was not clipped in properly

I would suggest taking the panel beater to court for the damages. Sounds like he just replaced the housing but the internals probably damaged as well.
