Default Hitch receiver desgin/ help needed

Hi

I am lookin into building a hitch receiver for my 07 outlander 2nd generation. Wondering if any one can help me with the desgin or copy me a desgin of an after market one.


Hitch receivers are 2 bloody expensive here in Australia/Perth about 600 to 700 bucks, dont know why!!


I appreciate any help I can get

sry bro, I saw that like a month ago. wht I mean help with measurements if possible and I am not expecting anything from any1, just hoping and keeping my fingers crossed

hiya !
mine is still sitting in my garage. Gotta get the weldnuts cleaned first (lotsa
mud and dirt and salt in them). I'll try to get some measurements before i install it.

edit...

found this... it's for an evo, but it might be similar...

I saw the one for evo before and I am not sure about it.

I will be waititng for ur measurements, I have access for 2 workshop and heavy machinery and a month holiday on the way..

Just hijacking this thread!

I bought a 2007 outlander here in Manila with a tow hitch already installed. I just noticed (after 3 months) that it seems that my rear is lower than the front.

Is it because of the weight of the tow hitch? How much weight does a hitch weigh? It looks ugly with the rear is kind of lower than the front.

Should I buy a spring to make it higher? I have no use of the hitch itself, but it looks nice with it.
