I am lookin into building a hitch receiver for my 07 outlander 2nd generation. Wondering if any one can help me with the desgin or copy me a desgin of an after market one.
Hitch receivers are 2 bloody expensive here in Australia/Perth about 600 to 700 bucks, dont know why!!
I appreciate any help I can get

hiya !
mine is still sitting in my garage. Gotta get the weldnuts cleaned first (lotsa
mud and dirt and salt in them). I'll try to get some measurements before i install it.
edit...
found this... it's for an evo, but it might be similar...

Just hijacking this thread!
I bought a 2007 outlander here in Manila with a tow hitch already installed. I just noticed (after 3 months) that it seems that my rear is lower than the front.
Is it because of the weight of the tow hitch? How much weight does a hitch weigh? It looks ugly with the rear is kind of lower than the front.
Should I buy a spring to make it higher? I have no use of the hitch itself, but it looks nice with it.
