Default How do I remove carpet in trunk?

Hi There,

We spilled about 2 litres of milk in the trunk of our 2007 Outlander and I need to remove the carpet and 3rd row seating to properly clean it out. I've figured out the seating and most of the carpet, but there is one section remaining... The section that tucks under the plastic piece running along the back of the trunk (at the base of the tailgate). I'm sure this piece is removable, but I don't want to start pulling on it and break a tab or something.

Does anyone know how to properly remove this plastic "runner"?

Thanks,

Rick

This extract of the 2007 manual show 3 plastic plugs on top, holding it and probably the carpet.

Thanks Claude! Any idea where I can get this manual? I don't think the owner's manual I have goes into this much detail.

Regards,

Rick
