Default How to drain the gas from the tank

Hi everybody,

I recently purchased a new 2014 Outlander Sport from a dealership. I purchased this car so I could export it out of the country. I asked the dealership to please leave the gas tank under 1/4 full because that is a requisite to load it on the container. Unfortunately the dealership didn't listen and they filled up the tank. I am wondering what the best way to drain the gas from the tank is. I can't drive the car as it is not registered and I can't add miles to it because it needs to be new to be exported, I also tried a siphon pump but there seems to be a stopper that prevents siphoning. Can somebody please help me out? Any ideas of how I can get rid of the extra gas?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Akzle,

Can you give me a few more details? Where is this bolt located? Can I access it without having to drop the tank? Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
