How is the drive of 2017/18 Outlander

Hi,
I am planning to buy 2017/2018 Outlander and I would like to see the pros and cons from actual drivers and users. Thanks

I think you just have to test drive. I wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised overall with my 2016 SEL. It's a pretty basic value SUV.

Our 16 GT is great

how do you like the car overall? Did you buy it new, what’s the mileage? I am also looking to buy a 2016 SEL here in Los Angeles, something below 50k mileage. I am hearing mixed messages about the quality of these cars, have you had any major problems?

Nope, 40k miles, no issues

No issues just a couple recalls. Just over 40k miles. Drive like new but I do keep on top of my maintenance.

I've never heard any complaints about "major problems". I'm not a fanboy and have my dislikes about the Outlander, but reliability has never been a concern. It's backed by the manufacturer anyway. I've driven tighter and smoother engines and transmissions and suspensions, but this is just a utility vehicle and not a performance car. It is fine for what it is as far as driving goes.
