Default Just got an awsome double DIN stereo

Check it out guys. The factory stereo just wasn't cuttin' it. Double din stereos are not easy to find. But this one had all the options I wanted... even a cassette player, wow (not). I haven't used a cassette in 10 years. The unit is a Pioneer FH-P5000MP. It plays MP3/WMA CDs and is XM ready. I also got the CD changer to RCA cable to connect my ipod. It sounds a lot crisper and brigther than the factory stereo (no surprise there). I just have the factory speakers right now but that will change shortly. Any Suggestions on speakers. Also I would like to install a subwoofer but I don't want one of those huge sub boxes in the truck; any suggestions.

Post your stereo mod on this tread. I would like to see what others have done.

Nice unit. Where did you get the plate that goes around the unit? Did it come with the stereo or was it a custom order thing?

I got the Radio and instalation done by a car audio place in Missisauga. They were fast too. The installation was done in under 1 hour. I basically paid for the radio and installation was done for free.

looks really nice. Everything but a tv Stock pekers have been fine for me, my new head unit really made a difference. I only plan on adding tweeters because everybody says its a great upgrade from stock speakers.

Right on, I got a friend who's from Missisauga, I just hope he didn't do the install for ya, j/k, he doesn't do that kind of stuffs. But the unit looks badass. Here's what I'm looking at for my Spyder:

I just need to figure out how I'll wire the speakers into the pc, and make all 6 channels work.
