LED Floor illumination Outlander Sport?

Has anyone figured out how to install the floor illumination kit? Is there a terminal specifically for this? If so I would like to tap into it for my own set of LED strips. Anyone have experience with this or installed LED strips in the Outlander Sport?

anyone install floor lights period?

I poured over the service manual and I do not see any mention of how the floor illumination kit is installed. In the end I decided to install my own LED strips using an Add-a-Circuit to get +12v to them and grounding them at the dome light switch wire. I was going to add a relay for a manual switch but decided it was too much of a hassle. A little later on I can provide a more detailed tutorial, but that will probably wait till i get my side emitting DRLs installed.

They will go on the top side of the headlights to act as day time running lights. I think a few others on this forum have done this as well, I will post a tutorial on that in another thread when it is completed. Just waiting on V-LED to release those.... the sales person says they should be coming out very soon.

I finished the install of the floor board lighting yesterday. I will take pictures and a video of them in action to go along with the write up.
