I have a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander. When my vehicle idles, it's very quiet, however, when I begin to accelerate it gets loud. It starts at about 20 mph and come and goes as I drive. Sometimes it gets loud on acceleration and sometimes it does not when accelerating. It's so loud I can't hear my radio unless I turn it way up. Any thoughts? Thank you.

 

Hole in the exhaust. Is there a difference if warmed up or not?

 

Thanks for the reply. I found out it was my passenger, front wheel bearings. Crazy how much it sounded like an exhaust leak! Fixed it and it's good to go.
