Default May be a stupid question..but....

Hey everyone,

This may be a "duh" question to most of you, but i'm not mechanically inclined. When in park and i press on the brakes you here a "click" at first i thought it was in the brakes itself, then i found out its clicking somewhere in the car. I don't think it happens outside of park. Any ideas ??

It's the release pin for the shifter that you hear its normal and will only happen when in park and when you push on the brake to shift from park.

It happens in all cars by the way...
depending on how well the cabin is insulated you may or may not hear it release.
