MMCS MP3 issues...
 

Hi all,

It seems (and I wasn't aware of that) that the MMCS unit doesn't recognize MP3 burn onto a DVD+. Unit says 'Verify Disc' whenburned DVD is inserted.That's a shame. Only MP3s burned on CD-ROM work.
I'm thinking of one thing : is there a way to change the media code of a single DVD+R to CD-R ?
Perhaps it will work. The DVD will maybe see as a CD but with larger capacity...

Any clue ?

I am not sure you can change the "media code" (aka Booktype) since CD-R is not one of the official booktype setting for DVD. What's confirmed though is that the MMCS will read DVD-Audio on a DVD+R media, if I remember it right. In fact that'd be better since you get the full CD quality spectrum in a DVD, and you can probably fit a couple albums in there (4GB/750MB= ~5 albums), in fact even more if your source has fewer songs in an album.
