MMCS OUTLANDER 2007 problem: Insert a program disk
All of a sudden the MMCS system in my Outlander 2007 failed displaying the following message: Insert a program disk.
The MMCS system was operating with a cloned 60gb pata/ide drive. I removed the drive as it wasn't working and replaced it with another cloned drive with no use. I am still getting the same message. I disconnected the battery for 4-5 minutes, reconnected it but still the same.. Is there any solution? I still have the initial/original Toshiba 30gb drive.. but I don't want want to use it as it will be locked.. and unlocking is a pain ....
Is there a solution? Please help

Had the same problem after disconnecting battery. You have to insert original HDD, then let the system start up. After everything is working properly, you can again insert one of the cloned disks.
Didn't find another solution, so you have to keep your original disk at a safe place in case you need it.
