Mods for a 10 Outlander GT

Hello all. I just picked up a 2010 Outlander GT. I am looking to start adding mods but I cant seem to find a good place for Outlander specific mods. Seems most of the mod sites focus on the Mitsu cars only. This Outlander is supposed to be a performance cuv/suv so I'm looking to make improvments. I would like to lower it's stance and add HP. Any Help?

Hi. There are few parts, or should I say, "reasonably priced" (depending on what you consider reasonable) parts made for the Outlander. Seems that there isn't as big of a market for them, so outside of K&N filters (drop in) and a couple of suspension options, (see below for links to a KW coilover kit and and H&R spring application) I haven't seen alot.

I'm considering buying a universal muffler and having it installed as opposed to paying the price for a direct fit, which would probably not yield much more than a sporty sound at the end of the day, but that's just me.

There is a vendor on the forum that offers some stuff for our vehicles
www.colt-speed.ca that you can check out, as well.

I will say this, however. I have noticed that my Outlander's engine has "loosened up" a bit now that I'm over 10,000 miles, and it's 100% stock on synthetic oil.

Thanks DeepFreeze2! Looks like the H&R spring kit will give me the look I'm going for. I live in Villa Park and it looks like there is a shop in Melrose Park that sells H&R stuff. I did see the colt-speed stuff but it looks a little pricey. Did you get the MMCS in your Outlander? If so, did you try the DVD in-motion patch yet?

Yes. My Outlander is equipped with the MMCS. After seeing how it looked in the dash, it was a must have. I didn't do the patch. Jury's still out on that one.

I was looking further into the H&R springs and found...(link below)

http://store.allsprings.com/mitsubis...007-p3378.aspx Nicest price I've seen.

I haven't contacted them as of yet, but I thought I'd share.:)

Nice

Thanks Freeze! Don't you find is crazy that you can save 100 bucks just shopping the web. I would have been happy paying the MSRP for those springs but now that you showed me that last link I'll never do that again. I'll let you know how the order process goes. :D
