Mud flaps

I just got my mud flaps in yesterday and put them on this morning. I'll have to take a few pictures once I clean the rest of the crude off the sides of the doors. 87$ body shop cost and part number MZ380379EX. They are a weird black rubber material. Take minutes to install. Just remove the stockclips and put in the clips provided and your done.Anyone else notice how much crap flips up on the side of doors with out them? Where I live there has been a big problem with the gypsy moths and caterpillars. There poop falls from the trees and it sounds like its raining. Then when it rains and it gets wet it flings up on the sides and hardens like cement. Between all that and normal debris, it was driving me nuts.

I'd appreciate some pics cause I have exact same Outie as you do and also thinking about mud flaps. As of now I bought a full nose mask (part number MZ313810). I wasn't sure if I really need it but a couple of days ago I got a nasty chip on a hood from flying rocks. Tomorrow I'm gonna install a hood portion of it. The bumper piece I'll save for winter.

I'm thinking to get them installed in the front only, but in Canada they cost about $170+tax (14%) an you cannot buy the front only. I might cross the border to buy a set now that the CAD is so high vs. USD.

RE: Mud flaps

First off please ignore the dirt flung up on the sides. This was the whole reason on buying the mud flaps and I didnt get a chance to wash it this weekend yet. Ignore the DARE ruler too I didnt feel like walking to the shed for the tape measure. Ok now to the mud flaps. They are just under 10 inches wide.

NO WAY! I just washed all that poo off the side of doors. It just took me a hour to get that stuff off.

I didnt know you all were interested in pics. Ive had mine for several weeks. The only thing that puzzled me about them is the recessed area on the inside, looks like a slush catch n freeze buildup spot. I guess well see.

Also I think they could stand to be a titch longer.
