Mud flaps/guards

Has anyone installed them before?
I couldn't find instructions online before I buy them.

What is involved? Wheel stays on? Adhesive?

Does it prevent stone chips on the side of the car?

Easy to install.
Good luck finding the primer. I looked at several auto parts stores with no luck.

I have been googling rock chips on the doors and rear wheel fender. Actually wasn't able to find a picture. Can anyone point out where do this occur as I am going to be talking to a clear bra installer.
I think it looks better than the mud flaps and it is a little better protection anyway

It seems they made the side sill a little bigger so maybe the problem is not as pronounced on the newer models?

I got another question..
how do you remove the 3 original clips that are holding the liner in place? Do you press down the middle or something else?

Pull on the center piece with a small flat blade and pop it out maybe a 1/4 in. or completely if you wish, them pull out the bottom part.

The bottom part is hollow and split and the center part is a pin that spread this piece and lock it in place.
