Default Navi Q: '08 vs '12

Hi everyone...

I've been looking all over for this, but what is the main difference between the two?

Biggest difference is the '12 has newer features. It has a USB input (or ipod), BT Audio, and maybe a few other things. It might have more expanded voice commands, not sure.

Is there any way to update the old to the new one? I'm especially interested in the BT audio...

You probably could, but it'd be expensive(ie, thousands of dollars). I recently posted about how to add BT Audio to the 08 style using its existing AUX input. That costs about $60-70 and takes not that long at all. You could likely take the parts you'd need to a Best Buy (actually, they'll likely have a lot of what's needed there) and have them install it as well.

I would say the project is a 1-2 hour project at most. I can't imagine that they would charge you more than $150 to install it + parts.
