Need help tinting a Outlander

Hi I was going to get my 2010 Black Outlander XLS tinted tomorrow and am having second thoughts on what percentage to get. I was initially thinking about getting 45% on the driver/passenger window because I really hate how there is so much contrast between the back windows and front. But now I’m thinking 45 might look like there’s no tint at all. I really hate dark tint and am afraid that 35 might look bad. Any ideas?? Also anyone know relatively how dark the stock tint is on the back windows? Thanks

Just some advice after being harassed by pigs daily go light on the front two windows the rear go as dark as possible.

Check with your state laws on the maximum tint for the front windows. In most cases they won't stop you just because of the tint, but if stopped for another reason they will add this to your ticket.

The back windows are about 15-20%. I went 20% on my front sides and it matches up nicely. Yes its illegal here in FL, but largely overlooked (unless you fit the profile of who the cops routinely go after....if your car is bright yellow with a overpowering bodykit etc).

You are right, 45% would be like no tint at all....I don't think you'd find 35% too dark - its about the legal limit for the front sides in most states IIRC.

Don't get cheap film or it'll turn purple in a couple years. Pinnacle by Formula One will last a lifetime.
