When I've went to auto parts stores like AutoZone, Checker, etc and looked in the Fram or STP books they have by the filters all I can find is info on oil filters, but no air filters, or cabin filters for the V6 or 2.4L 4 cylinder outties. Once someone finds this information for both engines we should put it at the top of the forum so members can refer to it.

Thanks ruchuck. I went to pureoil.com typed in 08 outlander and its showing C25859 as the cabin filter for both the 4cyl and V6. PL14610 for the oil filter for both engines, A35244 as the air filter for the 4cyl and for the 6 cyl A35789. This is for the Purolator brand of filters.

Here's the link to the purolator page; http://www.purolatorautofilters.net/...nder&year=2008

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe what I will do is call one of the auto parts stores that carry purolator and see if they can order a couple for me. If they can't get it, then I will go with the other one.

I've posted some of this info on another thread but here it is again:

cabin filter: very cheap only $5.00 each. I've been using it and it's really very high quallity.

I also use the k&n drop-in filter. By the brand there's nothing else to be said about quality.

If you have an AutoZone in your area, their website lists and STP brand, part # SA10497
for $17.99
