Does fuel Matter

RE: Does fuel Matter
I don't think it makes a lick of difference, aside from the price. I have actually heard that it can be harmful to put any other type of gas than recommended, even if premium is supposed to be better. I can't say for sure, because I have no knowledge in the area, but you are pretty much just wasting your money.

Yup, always use the reccommended octane. Deviations either way will cause performance and fuel economyloss. And more $$ out of your pocket. Remember cars are computer controlled, and programmed from the factory expecting a certain octane rating. Changing this means the ECM has to adjust for it. And where one adjustment is made, another must be made to compensate for the first, and so on.
