Outlander 07' (4b12, CW5W) Will not start
Hi, so i have my 2007 Outlander which just wont start what so ever. I did some troubleshooting and figured out my starter might have been the issue, so i did replace it with no luck. I did some further troubleshooting, checking all my relays and fuses again but they are all still fine. I did measure 12V on the positive terminal to the starter, but 0V on the solenoid signal when i turned my key. So i started measuring towards my ignition switch, and i do get 12V out from the ignition switch when i turn my key. So it seems to point towards the ECU so far from the voltage measurements i have done. Now is there any other spots i should check out before i conclude its the ECU and i need to replace/reprogram it? Or if anyone has some other troubleshooting tips for me.
EDIT: If there is any help to it, i can get the starter to crank by shorting the positive and solenoid terminals, I can also take out the relay and short the pins leading to the starter to get it to crank. |
