Outlander 2007

Hey.
I have an outlander from 2007, a 2.0 diesel. It often goes into limp mode. I also think it uses a lot of diesel, I can only get it up to about 10 km/l or about 25 miles per gallon.
I just installed a brand new turbo when I thought it was the problem, but it didn't help anything.
Does anyone have a suggestion for what to try next?

I have just had the same issue with my 2008. Turned out to be the Boost Pressure sensor. £25 from VAG. My average is now 44 to the gallon on a motorway run.

Thanks for reply.
Did your fuel consumption improve after the sensor was changed?

Do you know where it is located on the car?

It helps a lot. I have now ordered such a sensor.
I hope this is the problem, because the engine will soon drive me crazy.

I have now changed the sensor, it has not changed anything.
I can still only get it up to 25 miles per gallon Max.
It smokes a lot when it accelerates, it must get too much diesel, or too little air?

Have you got a code reader. Sounds like a fuelling issue. Especially the smoke part. I can ask my mechanic if he has any ideas he can throw your way

Yes I have had code reader on, there were no codes.
I have now changed the fuelfilter and airfilter, but also it was without result.
