Outlander 2010 - ACC power auto-cutout function Problem
Hi all,
I was at the drive-in with the family last night in my 2010 Outlander, and was using the car radio to listen to the audio from the movie (via FM radio). I think I actually had the ignition in the ON position rather than ACC, but after a short while someone behind me let me know my lights were on (and by this stage they were dim). I went to check, and the lights were switched to the OFF position, my radio had turned off as well. I had to fully remove the key for the lights to turn off - couldn't turn them off otherwise, and put the key back in for the radio to turn back on. My battery was flat by the time I went to start her back up. I know the car has an ACC power auto-cutout function as detailed on page 3-88 in the user manual, but why the hell would that feature also turn on my lights and why couldn't I turn them off? Anyone else experienced something similar? I'm about to invest in a jumpstarter tomorrow... Cheers! Daz |
