Default Outlander Bluetooth receiver compatibility

I have a 2007 Outlander XLS. The factory Bluetooth stopped working years ago.

The receiver model is 8785A003. Does anyone know if there are other model numbers that are compatible replacements?

Thanks.

It is very unlikely that newer BT modules are backward compatible. Actually, I do not recommend to buy any (old, new) BT modules from Mitsu. It is better to purchase a new 1din or 2din stereo (simple or Android/smart unit) with built-in BT and install it instead of OEM stereo. Search my posts for how to make wiring cable/adapters for aftermarket radio unit.

PS: In my 2013 outlander, the BT was working very bad and had lots of bugs, the SW/FW update did not help because Mitsu fixed some bugs and introduced 10 more in each new release. So, I gave up with it and purchased Alpine aftermarket radio with BT right after the warranty expired on my car.
