Outlander running rough
Hi, I have a 3 year old Outlander 2.2 Diesel DPF with manual transmission. I bought it new and it now has 160,000 kms on the clock.
Great car and it has been all over Europe & Scandinavia.
Since about 100,000 kms it occasionally starts to miss a beat when cruising at anything between 1,800 & 2,200 rpm. If it were not for the fact that it is a diesel engine I would have said that it was missfiring. No warning lights so the dealer is not able to pick up on the problem. It is happening more often now but nobody has a clue.
I have had the fuel lines and filters changed twice so that's not the problem.
My thoughts are that it might be the EGR valve passing the wrong info to the computer. Any ideas?
Thanks.
