Outlander sport 2017 glove box usb port

I Baught this car at the end of the summer and I love it! However one thing that always annoyed me was the usb in the glove box. It was the same with my mirage 2015. Is there anyway to change the location of the cable to the center?

My July 2016 ASX (Outlander Sport in USA} has a power socket and USB connection in the centre consul, so it is a standard spec on UK models.
