Power steering fluid 2005 Outlander
 

Can anyone tell me the correct power steering fluid for a 2005 Outlander, do I need the genuine Mitsubishi fluid, or it there other brands I can use?

when I did my '07, I called two local dealerhips. One said that you can use any power steering fluid...the other said that you can use any power steering fluid or ATF, which they used the ATF. I picked up some synthetic power steering fluid and did it myself...no problems since.

I used the turkey baster method with power steering fluid.
