Question reguarding wheels for Outlander
Hi, I got a 08 outlander with the 16" oem wheel.
Came across a set of Lancer GTS 18" wheel and would like to know if they' ll fit without problem.
Lancer GTS wheel is 18x7 offset 43
What is the OEM wheel spec for 18" outlander wheel?

Thanks for the info!
Is our stock wheel JJ or J?
Not too familiar with those letter stand for.
Just want to make sure the lancer GTS 18" wheel wont run into any problem when I actually purchase them and install in my outlander.

Lot of info you can find at http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg2.html
Do not bother with J and JJ rim type, both will fit on same tyre dimensions and on outlander. Difference is radius and base of the lip of the rim (6mm vs. 12mm). If you have specified that tyre is with rim protector (for alloy and fancy rims) majority is J style. Opposite to this JJ rims are used mostly at sport cars and off-road rims for heavy duty usage.
What I should look for is centre bore and offset (important for for clearance and suspension). For 7J rims maximum recommended offset is 40.
If you ask if proposed rims will fit, yes they'll fit. Everything else is your decision and wish to keep up to recommendations, regulations and safety. Check calculator on web link at start for tyre size and offset.
Personally I use 18x7JJ OEM rims 225/55R18 for summer tyres, and 17x7JJ 225/65R17 with 42 offset for winter tyres. Second ones are out of specification but into approved limits.
