Got my new outlander yesterday and noticed it only has 1 rear fog light, is the wiring their to plug in a bulb so I can have 2?

I hate cars that only have 1 rear fog light!!!

I live in the UK don’t you get fog in the US or is not legal to have them?

We use very bright red lights when it foggy so cars behind can see you in poor visibility I just wished car companies did not penny pinch in fitting 2

This reminds me about Heathrow Airport program an incoming flight from Air Jamaica had to land in Scotland because Heathrow was fog bound and he could not land because he did not have a pilot licence to land in fog. The aircraft had the technology to do it

Fog has been banned in North America for a number of years now solights aren't necessary.

What? Fogs mounted on the rear of the car? I have never seen this done besides on muddin trucks that were put on there by the owner. I can tell you 1 reason it should be illegal. The guy I work with had this done to his jeep and if the person behind him rode his *** or high beamed him he would flick the switch and 4 KC lights would shine back like the sun.

It's not like a front fog light. It is a red lamp about as bright as a brake light, built into the taillight.

Sounds like the lights the Formula 1 cars use in the rain.

I have fitted High intensity Red LED's into the rear bumper reflectors with good effect.

mines the 2007 outlander, theirs alens on the back at each corner but only the drives side works.

Guess I will have to pop the cover off and have a poke around. Hopefull it just needs a bulb. But knowing my look it won't be as easy as that!!!
